As a summer intern at the Central Tuberculosis Division Ministry of health and Family Welfare, I am applying my public health knowledge and skills to review, analyze, and propose innovative solutions for the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP). I have engaged with subject matter experts, been on field visits, and critically examined the latest developments and challenges in the program.I am also a current Masters of public health student at the Indian Institute of Public health Delhi. I have a strong interest and passion for improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities in low-resource settings. I have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from PT BD Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak, and am a certified dentist by the Delhi Dental Council. I have gained valuable clinical and analytical skills from my previous work experience as a clinical assistanship at Maulana Azad Institute Of Dental Sciences, where I performed over 200 dental extractions, 20 root canal treatments, and assisted senior residents in the operation theatre. I have also completed multiple online courses and certifications in public health topics, such as community health worker programs, linear regression in R, and statistics and data analysis.
