Introduction (Dutch):IT professional met passie en daaruit voortvloeiend ruime ervaring in het aansturen van (inter)nationale teams op het gebied van Cloud infrastructuur en beveiliging. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om onderstaand mijn beknopte profiel in het Engels op te nemen, met name gemotiveerd door de veelal internationale collega's en relaties die mijn profiel bezoeken op Linkedin. ------------------------------------------Profile (English):IT leader with more than 20 years of global experience building and scaling high-growth cloud based operations across Europe and Americas. After being involved in moving on-site application platforms to the cloud early in the 2010's, my focus in most recent years has shifted towards the planning and leading of teams to execute complete stack migrations to cloud managed, service based infrastructure. Familiar with the challenges that originate in these projects from either on-site platforms, as well as existing monolithic cloud stacks. With the ever still expanding range of cloud services, much of this work is highly iterative in the sense that it needs an ever recurring innovation and research phase to arrive at the most efficient and reliable migration strategy.I am also actively involved in cloud to cloud migration paths, often originating from a strategical wish for consolidation, with a focus on improving platform reliability and availability, and total cost of ownership.Strong focus on introducing platform security and data integrity in the CI/CD process. Working with compliancy teams to validate and certify platforms for industry standards such as PCI-DDS compliancy and others.Currently pursuing an academic degree in law school, both to be able to better understand and work with the legal context that can be applied to IT environments, as well as giving content to my 'life long learning' motto.
