As Vice President of Technical Service - I am responsible for the technical operation of the company. Overseeing the progress of the entire project and provide technical direction to the on-site technical managers in Solomon Islands, American Samoa, Samoa and Philippines.

Architectural and Engineering Design Consultancy.-Manage the architectural & engineering resource within the business and control the budget/cost centre. This could cover a multi-discipline team of diverse engineers including firmware, e.g architect, services engiring, civil, structural, geotech and technician.-Develop the company and product strategy alongside the Board of Directors-Define and set goals for the consulting company for growth-Execution of all development activities whilst oversee the product’s life cycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency -Analyse user requirements and usability metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and market penetration.-Serves as a technical expert representative across teams, clients and support the sales & marketing organisation.-Develop tools and processes that reduce engineering lead time, quality, reusability, reliability and compliance to standards.-Measure and monitor objectives.-Maintain a knowledge of new technologies and research in the given field.-Communicate a vision internally and externally (conferences, events, exhibitions).

To be responsible for the technical, financial and managerial aspects of complete projects as directed by the Directors. To maintain high standards of information presentation and to ensure their accuracy.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:01. Provide complete technical and financial management of projects including the development ofscheme fee proposals as directed by the Directors and Principal Engineers.02. Take an active role in the development of the Structures Division with a view to expanding itsclient base.03. Develop scheme designs as reasonably required by the Directors and Principal Engineers.04. Prepare technical drawings on paper and digital format to general Company standards and tothe particular requirements of the Directors and Principal Engineers, as applicable.05. Supervise / undertake the plotting and issue of technical drawings; maintain drawing issuesheets and record copies in a tidy and ordered state.06. Supervise / take receipt of incoming technical information in paper and digital format andensure safe and proper storage; maintain adequate records of all information received.07. Provide general project support including; site surveys, attendance at project meetings,ass-stance with site inspections and general representation of the Company outside of theoffice.08.Manage Engineers and Assistant Engineers where necessary on a project09. Prepare all Consultancy Proposal on various scale of projects.10. Prepare Tender Documents for Contractors Bid.
