Senior System Engineer, UNIX System Administrator and UNIX Security Officer working full-time at Tickets.com, the largest ticketing provider for concerts, theater and sports events in the United States. Responsibilities include administering, assessing and maintaining the systems and security of over 300 servers in multiple locations throughout the country. Common tasks include configuring, running and maintaining Apache web and Tomcat+JBoss servers on Linux, MC/Service Guard clusters on HP-UX, databases on HP-UX, Solaris and Linux, high-availability storage platforms such as EMC Clariion, Hitachi and 3PAR. Other duties include common sysadmin tasks such as DNS (Bind), Sendmail, OpenSSH, backups, user management, etc. Also worked to achieve Visa PCI Compliance for the company.

Programmer/Analyst & Team Leader working on-site on a Year 2000 project for Sherwin-Williams, the largest paint company in the United States. Tasks included assessing of Year 2000 readiness of the company's UNIX Operating Systems and applications, as well as remediation. Worked with the project team to create and utilize custom tools to locate and pinpoint Year 2000 problems, as well as generate reports for the employer.
