This internship provides me with hands-on experience in R programming for data analysis and statistical computing in molecular neuropharmacology. My team will conduct in-depth research on the pharmacological mechanisms underlying neurological diseases, culminating in a presentation in December.

Collaborated with other youth ambassadors and organized fundraisers for an Indian dancing event attended by over 500 people. Raised over $20,000. Currently helping organize a global event (tutoring kids globally) while advocating for India's underprivileged people.

Assisted with the lab/emergency room at Atrium Health Hospital. Helped with responsibilities such as scanning and doing lab tests under supervision, ensuring patient safety in the ER, and observing various nurses and other medical experts. Did my best to put the patient at ease and make them feel less apprehensive. Talk to them or offer them everything they need in the ER. Assisted with blood test scans and other laboratory procedures with supervision.

Volunteer with the athletic trainer every day after school with various sports—the primary focus of activity is Football in the Fall (80+ players). During practice and games, help the trainer if injured or in recovery. During games, wrap wrists, ice, and more. Clean up and set up for games for JV and Varsity.

In collaboration with Atrium Levine Children's Hospital, organized an event where residents of Charlotte and high schools in the surrounding area could volunteer and contribute medical supplies and toys for hospitalized children (1000+ houses). Received more than 100+ donation bags.

Learned about numerous eye disorders and what the next step might be to solve them from Dr. Steven at Waxhaw Eye Care. Investigated eye ailments of patients and researched further about them.

The five-week online summer research program included educational presentations, professional development training, basic laboratory techniques, and experiments. Every day, I had meetings and conversations about neurology and undiscovered diseases with various Ph. D.s from Johns Hopkins, Harvard, and other universities. I read and examined several study articles from multiple scientists and conversed with scientists worldwide. Hands-on lab work included dissecting and analyzing the brains of sheep.

Created medical pamphlets for patients at Dr. Ammar Alamarie's private clinic to provide a descriptive document with all the information for the procedure. Made a few; some examples are spinal cord stimulation procedures, radiofrequency ablation procedures.

Coordinated the Southwest Regional Competition with other state and regional officers. We made sure that everyone was where they needed to be, that everyone received their awards, and that everything worked well throughout the competition.

Guided students through the foundations of English riding, aided the trainer, and developed strong bonds with the students, assisting them in overcoming any obstacles. Being an assistant trainer entails understanding how to ride a horse, interacting with children, and educating them that horseback riding is a two-way collaboration between them and the horse. I was assisting them in establishing a bond between their horses and helping the trainer with everything they needed.
