Having served on a local Pandemic Response Planing Committee, held senior roles in regional government, Ontario school boards, and provincial associations, I have unparalleled insight in managing major capital projects, improving facilities team performance and restructuring.I was recruited by the Ministry of Education to serve on the Expert Panel on Capital Standards and was a contributor to the final report “From Concept to Classroom: Leading Practices Manual for School Construction in Ontario" and provided expert opinion on the implementation of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Under my leadership and guidance, facility accessibility planning, energy management and conservation plans were developed for school boards and regional municipality.
