    At the interface between biology, microscopy and informatics my current position allows me to develop and apply new methods for the acquisition, management and analysis of very big image data sets. These - mainly adult Zebrafish - data are based on the newly developed or established techniques of VibMic and CLARITY, which enable our team and clients to investigate specimens of multiple millimeters with a resolution below one cube-micrometer. This facilitates the research of small, far reaching structures as vessels or neurons on the level of a whole organ or even whole organism.
