As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at GT3 Architects, I contributed to various sport and leisure center projects throughout the UK. My responsibilities included producing architectural drawings, 3D modeling, implementing BIM practices and package delivery. I actively participated in design development, integrating client requirements, sustainability considerations, and regulatory compliance into our designs.One of my key roles was preparing and coordinating package deliveries critical for obtaining planning permissions, design and access statements as well as facilitating stage 4 tender with contractors and stakeholders. This involved creating detailed project documentation that ensured project alignment with client expectations, regulations as well as conveying design intent.My time at GT3 Architects equipped me with a strong foundation in architectural practice, emphasizing the importance of collaborative teamwork and effective project documentation. I am also thankful to have a Part 1 experience that exposed me to the various stages in the RIBA Plan of Work template, from early design conceptualization in Stage 1 to detailed construction handoff in Stage 4/5.

Internship at ALGO architects. Engaged in projects ranging from residential to commercial. As well as creating drawings/models, I was responsible for writing/documenting projects on the ALGO website as well as submissions for Dezeen and Archdaily. Gained massive insight on the inner workings of an architectural organisation, legislation and the design process. Also learned new skills in Rhino and grasshopper, which proved to be invaluable when it came to completing my Architectural Education.
