Knowledge-based production support: chemical process engineering of crystallisation and solid handling in a GMP environment. Troubleshooting and process improvement/optimisation of crystallisation and precipitation processes as well as downstream processing of solids (sieving, milling, micronisation). Additionally, I work on the development of crystallisation and downstream process steps for new products. This involves polylmorph screening and process optimisation.

PhD-student @ Solid state chemistry. Obtained doctor's degree on 31 october 2013 Experience in atomic force microscopy, surface X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, ESR. Resulted in various publications and a PhD-thesis (see publication list). Developed an X-Ray 2D-detector image analysis tool in Matlab that is able to analyse large data sets automatically and various other Matlab programmes/scripts.
