Manages and ensures that all Electrical phases of the plant operation are functioning efficiently and effectively to the requirement of all section / department of the plant, to carry out smooth operation of production lines and other facilities to support it. Prepares and implement preventive maintenance schedule of all electrical facilities and equipment and the spare parts required. Conceptualize and leads all facility improvement. Spearheads troubleshooting activities to shorten delays. Leads the calibration of all process instrumentation equipment. Evaluate technical specifications and jobs done by contractor. Acts as Internal Quality Auditor ISO 9001:2008 and Assistant Environmental Auditor ISO 14001:2004 of Puyat Steel Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System.

Gives Safety Orientation Training to newly hired employees. Gives Safety Inspection training to Plant’s Safety Police/Inspector’s to qualify them for the position. Gives Safety Rules Training to Trucking Personnel. Give Job Hazard Analysis Training to Supervisors. Gives Safety Talks and Safety Toolbox meetings to employees. Prepare and developed Safety Procedures and Annual Safety Programs. Evaluate and improve all Safety Procedures and Programs. Serves as the Secretary of the Safety Committee. Reports all status of the recommendations made by the Safety Committee. Coordinate all Safety Programs for the employees. Conducts investigation of any accidents and recommends correction and corrective actions. Provide Assistance to government agencies in the conduct of Safety and Health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs. Monitor and review condition and unsafe practices that might cause injuries or loss of life and properties. Perform monthly Safety Audit and make necessary action and recommendation to improve the safety practices of the company. Initiate disciplinary action to safety violators. As Deputy Fire Marshall, scedules the Fire Drill, training and orietation regarding Fire. Ensures that all Fire Fighting equipment are on its good working conditions. Evaluate the plants readiness on fire emergencies. Directs all Team Leaders of Fire Brigade Team on the action to be taken during fire emergencies. Investigation of the cause and origin of the fire as well as compliance to the applicable codes.
