I began my career at Touche Ross & Co----moving into Retail for 15 years reaching the level of Treasurer of Jamesway Corp (a $500 million NYSE company)---at which point I switched industries and entered the wholesale/importing business.As CFO of Accessory Network (a ladies handbag/accessory company) we grew a $40 million company into $120 million and in 1998 successfully sold the company to a private equity fund.I then moved into children's clothing designing and importing merchandise from all over the world. After spending 16 years and growing the company to sales in excess of $100 million I decided to slow down and enjoy life in North Carolina.I've been a Mentor in SCORE and I've been Chapter Chair for the past two years. I'm also a Certified Instructor and have a relationship with an Economics Professor at UNC where I am a guest lecturer.For fun, I enjoy playing golf and I donate my time to various Assisted/Independent living places and entertain the residents by playing the piano.
