I am a computer-electronic engineer by training, a data scientist by profession and a machine learning researcher by heart.My professional career first started as M.Eng student at the Multilingual Speech Technologies (MuST) research group, where I had the privilege to spend time with world-class researchers and experts in the ML community. From the research done in this group followed two peer-reviewed papers: one published at AAAI2020 as co-author and the other at FAIR2019 as main author. I am currently employed at Saigen as data/speech scientist. At Saigen I am working on complex ASR problems related to South Africa's 11 official languages as well as general call-center and financial data.
