Managed the successful delivery of Vacations By Rail independent and escorted touroperations, ensuring the customers received an exceptional experience in the most efficient and effective way. This was delivered through a combination of local leadership and partnership with the Great Rail Journeys team in York, UK.

Managed all activities related to the operations of international tours as well as educate and work with internal departments. Directly supervise Operations Services Department (6 FTE).- Successfully ramped up operations after the pandemic shutdown.- Set up Ops onboarding handbook, decreasing onboarding period from two months to just two weeks.- Implemented and improved internal processes resulting in the team managing 20% more group departures per person.

Managed operations of high-quality educational group tours for US, Canadian and UK university alumni associations, museums, including Smithsonian Institution, and other organizations to destinations all over the world. This included synthesizing client information and providing reports to international suppliers, Travel Directors, and internal departments. In 2019, successfully operated 85 group departures of 2000+ travelers to 13 destinations in Europe, Africa and North America.Supported my colleagues in product development with creating and developing tours, including creating and updating budgets, negotiating agreements with vendors/suppliers around the world, organizing and participating in site inspection trips with/without clients, and reviewing and approving marketing materials.

The two primary elements of my role were managing Spark’s 'impact travel program' to Zambia, Nicaragua, and Mexico and event management. This included developing a trip strategy, establishing and improving processes, developing and marketing of trips, as well as coordinating every aspect with local suppliers and leading the trips. During my years at Spark, we grew the annual number of trips and travelers by 25%, and increased the profitability of trips by 15%.The role also included the planning and execution of two large annual fundraising events in Chicago, attended by 220-300 people, as well as numerous smaller fundraising, cultivation, and awareness-building events in Chicago and around the country. Introduced new technologies, started an events committee, and introduced upselling opportunities, increasing the funds raised at the major fundraising events by 65% in 3 years.In addition, I was the liaison for Spark's Associate Board and Young Professionals board.

Travel Brand combines various activities, which are centered around, based on, or inspired by the work and expertise of world-renowned travel writer and journalist, Mr. Inder Raj Ahluwalia, who is a Partner in the company and the Editor-in-Chief. The activities fall into four main categories, namely an online travel magazine (i.e. Land & Myth), events, books, and articles. Shanti Travel is an e-tour operator, which is run by French nationals and headquartered in New Delhi, India. The company caters primarily FITs from France and the rest of Europe to destinations in Asia by providing customized trips.The Shanti Guide Project is the key marketing tool for Shanti Travel and consists of pocket-size city guidebooks and mini magazines.- Authored the first Shanti Guide and Mini Magz for Delhi and managed the complete product development of the guide, as well as of the guides for Mumbai, Chennai, Pune and Bangalore.- Acquired over 100 advertisers and sponsors, which solely contributed to a profitable business model.- Made and executed marketing and PR plans, developed and executed sales strategies, identified cross-selling opportunities, managed the revenue and expenses, and managed a team of up to eight employees across India.

Bagel's Cafe is a chain of restaurants in Delhi, National Capital Region, India.My role was to develop a marketing plan and to establish marketing channels that were crucial to the development and growth of Bagel's Cafe as a restaurant chain.
