My responsibilities extend beyond the four primary regions of Umbraco, supporting potential partners worldwide. For any Umbraco-related needs, whether you're an agency or an end-customer, I am your go-to contact.Based in the Netherlands, I understand and address the unique needs of the Benelux market, providing exceptional business support and creating new partnership opportunities. My dedication includes growing the Dutch Umbraco community and ensuring tailored solutions and support.With a background in coaching and scaling businesses, I offer invaluable support to partners, helping them refine and optimize their (online) business strategies. My career spans from design and development to business management, with a primary focus on the latter since 2008. Starting as a designer and developer, I learned technical skills and gained a deep understanding of digital solutions. This foundation and additional education allowed me to transition smoothly into business management, where I have excelled in strategizing, scaling, and leading business operations. My experience includes founding and growing Aim24 and establishing Shoptique. Additionally, I have worked with various Umbraco Partner Agencies, enhancing my expertise in the CMS sector. I have a proven track record of coaching businesses, optimizing business strategies, and forging strong partnerships, particularly in the tech and CMS sectors. My ability to bridge technical execution and business strategy has driven growth and success for my ventures and the partners I support at Umbraco HQ.My journey with Umbraco began in 2005/2006 at APM Interactive, where I first encountered Umbraco during a comprehensive CMS research project. Although Umbraco wasn't the right fit for APM Interactive at that time, it quickly became my preferred CMS for personal projects. In 2008, I founded Aim24 and developed "SuperSimpleWebshop," which evolved into "uWebshop." This led to the establishment of Shoptique BV in 2011, in collaboration with Mindbus, one of the first Umbraco Gold Partners in the Netherlands. Since 2002, I have organized numerous industry and social events, including the Dutch Umbraco Conference (DF) since 2017 and the Umbraco Codegarden conference in Denmark, contributing to its success, including virtual and hybrid editions.There's much more to my Umbraco story.
