Supply Excellence is RB’s continuous improvement and cost-saving program. Reported to EVP Global Supply. Managed global multi-functional teams to identify and implement cost saving opportunities. Managed major cross-category and cross-regional projects. Introduced several tools to optimise cost.

Initiated/lead and co-ordinated cross-category and cross-regional cost-saving projects. Solved conflicts between categories and countries. Developed a comprehensive packaging cost-saving checklist. Initiated packaging harmonisation programs (bottles, closures, folding boxes, films and corrugated) and pushed the introduction of multi-lingual packs. Developed a Global database to report the Cost Saving Projects. Intensive international travelling > 90% of working time.

Managed all packaging aspects of new product developments from the concept through to factory implementation and launch in a multi-functional/multi-national team environment (supplier management, project planning and execution, liaison with Product Development, Manufacturing and Quality teams, optimising line efficiency and robust specifications). Responsible for new technology searches targeting consumer benefits and cost reduction. Conducted consumer research, product benchmarking & financial analysis. Managed and maintained internal relationships with Marketing, R&D, Procurement, QA, Manufacturing, Sales and other departments and external relationships with suppliers, trade, trade associations, universities, consultants, etc.Responsible for the cost-saving program in Benckiser GermanyProject leader for several production line transfers from Belgium factory to Germany and from German factory to Poland and France.

Founded the Packaging Department for R&C Germany.
