It motivates me when colleagues in my teams have great ideas and solutions for complex issues and challenges, as opposed to me having to figure it out singlehandedly. Early in the year 2000, during an interview, the interviewer commented that I was talking about the achievements of my teams, as opposed to me talking about my own successes. Apparently, I had become 'unconsciously competent' in valuing the collective results of professional and dedicated teamwork. As a project manager and IT architect my ambition is, and skills are, to successfully implement complex development, migration, and system integration projects. My experience is that these projects come to the greatest results when they are a joint effort between professionals from customers and (project) partners.
