Vanaf de voorbereiding die startte in 2008 tot en met de oprichting in 2011 en daarna als actief bestuurslid tot en met december 2014 heb ik een hele actieve rol gehad in de Vereniging van Registrars SIDN. Mijn kracht om van niets iets te maken heb ik optimaal kunnen benutten. Nu staat er een solide professionele vereniging en is het moment aangebroken om iets anders te gaan doen. Het was een mooie tijd.Wat deed ik concreet:De Vereniging van Registrars (VvR) is het adviesorgaan van SIDN waarin alle registrars van .nl domeinen zich hebben verenigd. Het doel van de Vereniging is om SIDN gevraagd en ongevraagd advies te geven over alle zaken waar SIDN zich mee bezig houdt en gaat houden.Als bestuurslid externe betrekkingen onderhoud ik de contacten met de leden van de vereniging, andere registrars en registries, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
