Arnt-Helge Olsen is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of experience in the marine robotics industry. He is currently the VP of Marin Robotics Commercial Sales, Americas at Kongsberg Discovery, a global leader in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the maritime sector.Arnt-Helge has a strong technical background in digital electronics, computer science, and navigation systems, as well as a business management degree from FDH, an affiliate of University of Tromso. He started his career as a chief navigator with a seismic company, where he was responsible for real-time data collection, navigation post-processing, and satellite communication systems. He then joined Kongsberg Maritime as a sales manager for the Americas, and progressed to various vice president roles, overseeing sensor and robotics sales, subsea sales, and marine robotics sales. In his current role, he leads the commercial sales of uncrewed system platforms, such as HUGIN, MUNIN, SOUNDER USV, and Eelume, across the Americas region.Arnt-Helge is passionate about delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of maritime operations. He has a proven track record of developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, as well as achieving sales targets and growth objectives. He is also an effective communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver, who leverages his customer service, interpersonal, and leadership skills to drive results and innovation.
