As a Quality Control Chemist, I accelerated sample manufacture throughput by:• performing GMP testing on API using Waters HPLC, TOC and Karl Fischer titration as well as other protein chemistry techniques such as ELISA and Western Blotting• completing validation and report writing of new protocols, internal standards and instruments in a timely manner• verifying the quality of incoming raw materials and processing aids, carry out on-site air and water monitoring as well as calibrations and maintenance of instruments

Senior Research Assistant for the Tissue Repair and Regeneration Program at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovations (QUT), the Australia India Strategic Research Fund and the Wound Management Innovation CRC. I significantly added value to the research by:• spearheading the collection of over 2000 diabetic and chronic leg wound exudate samples across 12 health clinics as well as the management of all accompanying clinical databases• using Shimadzu HPLC and Agilent LCMS to characterise proteomic and metabolomic profiles of diabetic and chronic leg wound exudates to identify novel biomarkers of healing• developing novel formulation of allopurinol delivered topically to chronic wound sites, in parallel with the protocols required to test release of the active ingredient, the sterility and stability of the product
