Supported Transition to Program’s new M&E system, “MELA”: Defined and met project milestones, finished project three months ahead of schedule, aligned grantee indicators to Foundation’s standardized indicators, controlled for quality, analyzed and logged indicators by specific issue area, communicated with grantees to ensure smooth transition.

Focal Point for Sub-Saharan Africa Grantmaking (representing ~$15M): Administered grants, managed partner relationships, contributed to grantee program evaluation pursuits, ensured proposals were per compliance standards, reviewed incoming narrative/financial reports and inquired on deviations from original proposal. Advised Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Team: Tracked progress on grantee indicators, mapped grantee indicators to new standardized population and reproductive health program indicators.Assessed Fiscal Health of Grantee Projects: Conducted financial analysis of audit reports, ensured timely payments, tracked budget expenditure, approved financial reports, and approved no cost extensions.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Maternal and Child Health: Created frameworks and visual aids now utilized for project M&E management, cleaned country-wide indicator data, re-designed indicators incorrectly measured, edited M&E reports and internal office guidelines/protocols.South Sudan Emergency Response in Refugee Camps on the Border of S. Sudan (Gambella, ET): Conducted sexual and gender based violence rapid assessment, led focus group discussions with adolescent women, conducted key informant interview, researched and contextualized gender based violence assessment tools, reported data to inform future programming.“Women and Their Children’s Health” (WATCH) Project Semi-Annual Report: Travelled to field offices and health clinics to gather qualitative information for semi-annual report on country wide maternal and child health project, harmonized conflicting information from various field sites, compiled multiple documents to reflect overall country project progress, conducted meetings with field and other relevant staff to manage flow of information and deadlines.

Founded and ran Maximizing Potential Abroad, a student-run organization focused on community service in Los Angeles and abroad. Performed in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Olympics as a figure skater. Staffed on-ice memorabilia cleanup after figure skating performances during competition events.
