Provide technical support for faculty, staff, and students of the Boston University community. Deploy university owned assets and oversee them using Asset Management software such as KACE and JAMF. Administrating Active Directory groups and permissions for access to appropriate shared resources for assigned schools/departments. Install and support requested software/services such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Sharepoint, Dropbox, and NAS storage. Provide guidance for technology purchases for assigned schools/departments. Advocate for client technology needs at various schools and centers across campus, serving as a liason between IS&T and the BU community.Member of our Student Management service team. Supervised and adjusted student employee work schedules around their dynamic class schedules which change from semester to semester. Contributed towards reference documentation to provide useful resources for continuing student employees. Hired and trained several new student employees for various positions within the BU IS&T departments. Additional projects/duties as required.
