Trained in literary and AV translation (dubbing and subtitling; audio-description & subtitles for the deaf & hard of hearing), I don't shy away from specialized texts within fields such as: environmental matters, transportation, governance, public budgeting, urban planning.As cliché as it may sound, I truly believe translators and interpreters to be bridge-builders, not only between languages but realities and perspectives, so that end-goals may be achieved. I strive to do this as a TRANSLATOR and ADVOCATE for creative-professionals rights.I am involved with diverse culture-oriented initiatives, paying special attention to contents and amplifying the voices of those wanting/waiting to be heard.My main interest, both professionally and personally, is working with and for people, for instance, through developing and researching contents to make communities' development possible in a globalized world.
