Designed and developed a new feature for my team’s web application. Implemented the feature in Ruby on Rails and MySQL. Implemented the backend service in Java.

Worked on the user interface for the automated testing framework for embedded video/audio system. Merged and cleaned up team’s existing codebase. Automated unit-testing of some of the components of the codebase.

As a member of the team developed distributed automated testing framework for embedded high quality video/audio system. The framework included FPGA-based video capture as well as control and analysis subsystems implemented across multiple hardware platforms including microcontrollers, Linux/Window/Mac based PCs and a set of measuring devices. Designed and developed multitasking support for Arduino microcontroller, JSON-based components that support database functionality, test generator based on target system state analysis, thread-safe logging and console modules.

Developed solutions for digital camera, wattmeter, and spectrometer in C++ and C. Designed and implemented an API for measurements and data acquisition performed by the devices (around 1.5 K lines of C++ code.)

Learned JavaScript while providing engineering assistance on the company’s web application, including bug fixing and graphics and feature customization. Implemented application workflow and screen layouts provided by designer into a web-based application using JavaScript and CSS.
