Hello! I am a mechanical engineer with experience in market research consulting and 3D design in SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor. Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. Feel free to read more...I am currently a Program Coordinator for the College Success Scholars program at the University of Maryland, College Park. As a Program Coordinator, I oversee 4 incoming freshmen pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, guiding them both academically and emotionally through their first year of college. I am also responsible for documenting important information pertaining to the success of all 87 first and second-year scholars. Currently, my mentees have an average GPA of 3.6 out of 4. I also moved out documentation practices to adapt to a completely virtual environment, decreasing information input time by half.This past summer I also worked as a Market Research Consultant for the Robert H. Smith School of Business under the Impact Consulting Fellowship program. There I was able to connect with the CEO of the Grassroots-Fund which is an organization dedicated to improving non-profit organizations through customer relationship management making it easier for Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to raise money and raise awareness for their cause. As a Market Research Consultant, I researched niche markets in order to develop a go-to-market strategy that is to be implemented this December.In the past, I also worked as an Office Assistant for the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education and as a Skate Assistant for Tri-state Ice Management at the Downtown Silver Spring Ice Rink.As a first generation college student and the son of two immigrant parents, I work hard every day to take full advantage of any opportunities that I come across and maneuver around any obstacles that are thrown my way. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball with friends at local parks, learning new things, and watching just about anything on Youtube or Netflix.
