CurrentDiversified Education Services (DES) provides superior academic and organizational support for students and adult professionals. Whether at the middle, secondary, or college level, we address all short-term school needs, proactively helping students understand what is taught in class, complete homework, and prepare for tests and quizzes. We also address the long-term goal of independence by promoting skill development in all academic areas and time management, organization, test preparation, and self-advocacy. Learning specialists at DES are all certified special educators with master's degrees. Through client work and collaboration with related-service professionals, we stay current on the latest findings in education, psychology, and neuroscience, helping students from K-12 at independent and public schools in Greenwich, CT, and the surrounding areas, in addition to college students as well.We also utilize our expertise in executive functioning to coach young adults and professionals struggling to find their way in the world. Many of our adult clients are either trying to find their way back to college or, after graduation, are struggling to manage their lives. We coach our clients to capitalize on their talents, whether it is difficulty with time management, organization, planning, flexible thinking, set-shifting, or other areas of executive dysfunction. Our coaches understand that life's successes occur in stages – and we will tailor our approach to be both supportive and instructive. Our uniquely talented specialists have undergone extensive training to contend with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to ADHD, Autism (ASD), Anxiety (GAD), and Learning Disabilities (SLD). We are executive functioning coaches, education therapists, mentors, and liaisons between home and school. We use an engaging strength and relationship-based approach to build confidence and enhance the internal strength within each student and professional adult.
