Aron is a Founder and Managing Director of Newgate Compliance Limited. He has over 25 years' experience in compliance and regulation, predominately at the regulator, before establishing Newgate.Following the acquisition of Newgate, Aron is now Global Head of Regulatory and Compliance at Ocorian and is a member of ExCo.Ocorian delivers tailored entity administration, fiduciary and compliance solutions to optimise your business operations.Previously Aron was a Directorship at a large UK compliance consulting firm and working as an Approved Person for various firms in the asset management sector.Aron has extensive regulatory knowledge and, having worked at the regulator but also as a Compliance and MLRO in industry, combines both a practical knowledge of compliance and regulation with a deep understanding of how the regulator works.During his time with the FSA (and it's predecessor), Aron lead and managed teams of supervisors visiting regulated firms, undertook the authorisation of numerous high profile new asset management firm applications and led project teams on various regulatory themes. Aron was instrumental in the development and implementation for the process of interviewing key individuals for significant influence functions at large and complex firms.
