|| Where It All Started ||There was always something to do.Growing up I was part of a small family in a country town where both parents worked hard for what they had. I admired their work ethic and constant energy. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew I wanted it to be meaningful in the same way.Whilst studying I was handed some of the best career advice I’ve received to this day, “it can be difficult to know what to do with your life until you’ve experienced it first hand.” And just like that, I was off. Fighting for every unpaid internship, work experience and temp job I could find, and just like that, I discovered the many lenses of marketing.I’ve gone from managing a paper route along the leafy magpie nesting areas of Tilquin Street to managing teams halfway around the world (who know nothing of my very rational fears of the "Spring swooping season"). || Looking Forward || Until recently, I have served as the Marketing Director to one of the countries fastest growing tech unicorns - Unbnd. Part immersive agency, and part next-tech studio, I have created strategies, owned relationships and delivered results that have contributed to its growth. Having moved away from the business in the aftermath of COVID pressures, I am currently enjoying my downtime to close out the year. In the future I’m seeking to maintain my momentum by creating impact in other innovative businesses. I have always enjoyed the work I do, and I’m fortunate to have worked in some of the best teams. It’s this attitude and desire to grow that fuels my value to like-minded teams.
