Underground Miner, working with the latest in mining technology, in a block cave mine, my role currently is to build/maintain the cave, by installing shotcrete, screen and rock bolts of various types. Using drills, sprayers, mixers and pumps, along with physical labor. Its a rewarding job with a great group of people, with a schedule that suits a great work life balance.

Lead a small group carpenters, laborers, and operators, with prefabrication, modification, and storage of Peri Wall/Column concrete form work from the footings up to the ground level from 3 stories underground. When not in the yard, I also worked installing vertical form work. And building pre-engineered re usable work decks for inside the stairwells and elevators. I worked closely with the cranes and operated the tele-handler while I was there, and often carried a crane radio to rig for my work being done, and help out whenever required as a rigger.

Working with Property Managers, and Strata Counsel members to come up with cost effective long term solutions for their building envelope maintenance and upgrades. Once solutions are agreed upon between all three parties, I ensure the project gets completed safely, with minimal interruption to occupants, within budget, and within discussed time frame. The majority of the work is completed myself, otherwise closely monitoring my trusted sub-trades. Helping family's improve and/or repair their homes to make them safer, more aesthetically pleasing and more comfortable places to be.
