This is Kathleen. I have a PhD in finance from Xiamen University and a master's degree in business. I serve as the head of the cancer research department at UCLA. I have spent the past 4 years managing an NCI-designated cancer institute.Before joining UCLA, from 2007 to 2009, I founded Deep Sea Puzzle Cosmetics in Shenzhen, China, where I served as founder and CEO. In this role, she gained the most valuable experience of her life, as well as the management and supervision of all team operations. From 2010 to 2015, I worked at International Finance Center Management Co., Ltd. and served as the general manager of the company. I formulated and implemented the mid- to long-term development strategy for the local wealth management market and led the branch center to complete the company's annual task indicators. From 2016 to now, I have invested in Megeve Beauty, a brand that is doing well in both the United States and China. I am an excellent investor in the financial industry and have investment projects with many niche brands, which proves that investing in challenging markets can yield returns.After an extensive national search, I joined UCLA Cancer Research in 2019 as Director. My responsibilities include financial management, personnel management, research program planning and development, systems development, organizational planning, space and facilities management, and capital improvements.I also hold a doctorate in finance and a master's degree in business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in finance and minoring in business.A life-conscious person with a passion for improving people's lives so that they can live happy, healthy and meaningful lives.
