Growing up I was one of those pesky ‘why’ kids. I wanted to know how things worked, how they were put together, but more importantly how to improve them. So I would take things apart, sometimes I could put them back together, but it was always about learning and improving.Today I work as a Programmer and I get to ask those ‘why’ questions on a daily basis. Why are we getting unnecessary applications? How do we prevent some of these? Can the process be simplified? I’ve had the opportunity to design and implement applications used by hundreds of users in multiple roles. To talk with them about features they love and features they want to see changed. Then making these changes and seeing their response as their production increases tenfold.I’ve worked in the technology field for the last 7 years making web applications, integrating API’s and improving user flows. I continue to ask why and I’m always looking for a new problem to solve, analyze, and learn from.
