Developed and wrote legislation that improved the technology policy at the University of Washington. The legislation effectively removes restrictions on technology use for students in classrooms. This is particularly supportive of students with varying learning challenges that unrestricted access to technological aids helps alleviate. Separately, collaborated with committee members to revise and improve legislation proposed by other members to improve the quality of the learning environment at the University of Washington. Researched homelessness in Washington state extensively to produce an honors thesis that provides both a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the state’s homelessness crisis. Worked alongside advisors and mentors to produce an original thesis. Analysis furthered the conversation of homelessness by providing an innovative perspective for understanding why homelessness continues to be a pervasive issue. Managed several diverse teams over the course of three years at the University of Washington to effectively meet deadlines and produce quality work. Examples of the core focus for different teams include R-programming, SQL, and Information Architecture. Utilized consistent communication, interpersonal skills, and organization of team members to create a productive work environment. Most recently operated as the project manager for a database team to create a database from scratch within five weeks.
