I am a technology executive that focuses on creating and engineering the business models of the future, delivering positive results in customer outcomes - top-line and bottom-line. I get there by building and developing a strong and diverse leadership, as well as operational teams. I develop all team members entrusted with managing/creating customer outcomes and/or providing guidance and leading others. My focus is on people and the team. Together, we focus on the customers’ outcomes and benefits, and our customers' rewards make the enterprise financially successful.I worked for Siemens for 20+ years, and 2 years in management consulting helping clients in various verticals achieve their goals. Siemens is a German global technology powerhouse that has stood for engineering excellence, innovation, quality, reliability and internationality for more than 170 years. Siemens has been and continues to be successfully aligned with the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization. I had the opportunity to work in all of these areas through my career. The last 15 years of my career I spent in the Siemens Smart Infrastructure Division. It is the world market leader for smart, safe, secure, energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly buildings and infrastructure. Siemens is a leading technology partner, consultant, service provider, system integrator and product supplier in all of the above mentioned areas. I have had active leadership roles internationally, starting with Germany, India, the US and many other countries through specific projects. The last 2 assignments, Seattle/Northwest US and Orlando/Central Florida, I was asked to turn around a piece of the US organization - get to short term goals and set the stage for growth and improved performance. For example, in Central Florida, a mature and very competitive market for Siemens Smart Infrastructure, we reenergized the whole leadership team and delivered 5 years of consistent growth ~16% p.a., mostly in the recurring service business, all while doubling profitability within the same timeframe. Our leadership team played a leadership role setting up a training lab and curriculum for a 2-year program at Valencia College, which trained future technicians as well as partnered with a local School District to support development of STEM teachers. I have been very active in the Economic Development Commission (Orlando Economic Partnership) and set up a Technology Partnership with the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center as part of our STEAM societal impact strategy.
