Cybersecurity is more than just a field of study for me; it is a passion and a mission. As a PhD candidate and a graduate research assistant at Purdue University, I explored the complex and fascinating challenges of protecting digital assets and ensuring data privacy in our increasingly connected world.My research focuses on the applied cryptography and information and network security aspects of cybersecurity, with a special interest in critical infrastructure protection. I have published multiple papers in top-tier security journals and conferences, and received awards and grants for my presentations and participation. I have now joined Oracle, where I work on developing and testing various components of Data Safe. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and I have completed several online courses and certifications in machine learning, project management, and project execution.As a trailblazing woman in STEM and the first in my family to pursue a career and a PhD in this field, I am deeply committed to breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation of female scientists and researchers.
