Design principal, managing all aspects of the practice, from client relations to construction documentation and administration.The research based practice explores digital design solutions to site specific problems within the context of a given program. The practice has focused on medical clinics and high end residential projects as well as marketing and brand strategy services.

Cleveland Heights

Managed several large public housing projects (60-125 units) from design through construction documentation and construction administration.Led project teams on competition entries, winning the commission for a lake front market rate 70 unit, 4 story apartment building.Instrumental in the introduction of Revit into the firm, completing all projects on this platform.

Kent, Oh

The first semester taught the fundamentals of design through hands on studio projects focusing on elements of order. These ideas were explored through a combination of two and three dimensional compositions ignoring program to focus on design principles.In the second semester students explore the fundamental design principles taught in the previous semester with the added element of site specificity and program. Students explored design through conventional methods, such as physical model, hand drawing, sketch and diagram. Projects begin to dissect building skin and impose abstract materiality through experimentation.

Cleveland

The non-profit agency, Progressive Arts Alliance, brings professionals from the community into the classrooms of school systems who have lost their art curriculum entirely due to budgetary constraints. The first semester introduced students to their neighborhood by having them explore a re-design of their urban environment, creating a visionary master plan.The second semester combined current curriculum being taught at the school about the effects of food deserts on low income neighborhoods who miss out on healthy food choices. The project required students develop their own idea for a greenhouse that could be built on the grounds of their current school. After the semester was complete, students raised funds, built and now maintain the greenhouse.

Culver City, Ca

Working under project managers at the firm, responsible for the execution of several high profile competition entries, including the Mexico, Balandra City Master plan.Design detailer and modeler on the 5 story steel arts tower located in Culver City.Awards: 1st place International Design Awards, New Commercial Building for the Culver City Arts Tower.

Cleveland, Oh

Designer and project manager on a wide variety of project types including condominiums, office, retail, schools, library and church design.Managed the design and execution of a $2 million interior renovation for the Cleveland Heights.
