- Monitor and acknowledge network events, security events, and internal system alerts.- Provide first-level support to customers (members), open tickets, and track them through resolution with members, LINX staff, or vendors.- Support and progress provisioning ticket queue, including related on-site tasks.- Manage escalations based on skills matrix, addressing exchange, internal services, member issues, and security concerns.- Assist with on-site member requests such as light level checks, fibre/cabling inspections, and hands-on troubleshooting.- Monitor and maintain ticket queues, ensuring adherence to queue management procedures.- Oversee pre- and post-maintenance activities for internal systems, exchanges, and third-party works, offering support where necessary.- Perform minor internal system and exchange maintenance tasks, including software upgrades.- Ensure inventory accuracy by systematically cross-checking between inventory systems and physical equipment.- Maintain documentation of NOC processes and procedures, collaborating with the NOC manager to enhance operations and service quality.- Test operational tools and software developed by the LINX software engineering team.- Monitor technology group email role accounts (e.g., support@, abuse@, noc@) and respond promptly and appropriately.- Provide support for co-location access and remote hands in data centers.- Continuously develop knowledge and skills in internal systems, security practices, and core LAN networks.- Participate in a 24x7 rotation schedule.- Perform any other duties necessary for the overall operation of LINX.
