As a Kitchen Manager, I was responsible for Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards in all kitchen related areas. My job role also allowed me to drive sales through excellent food quality and speed of service. From July 2013 I was also Kitchen Trainer for Chiquito in the Northern Region and our restaurant became Restaurant of Excellence officially in 2014. This role allowed me to challenge myself on an everyday basis, as I was responsible to train managers of all levels for kitchen skills, Food Safety procedures, BOH operations, menu knowledge and brand standards.
