So, being selected to develop multiple small to medium proof of concepts to design and experiment in parallel to the main projects. Worked on ANTLR, Hubot, JIRA and Git APIs, PolymerJS, Apache Ranger, Apache Kafka with Akka streams to mention a few.Working as a core member of Nia automation team, a B2B product for L3 ticket automation. Started with the task to update jQuery based UI to angular based single page application meeting material guidelines.Developed vscode extension to make the UI lightweight and enhance support engineers user experience and giving them tools to promptly test workflows on smaller data sets before deployment.Currently improving the performance of automation robots by attaching the ability for hot swapping plugins and reusing execution engine from another project for parallel execution. Developed from the ground up a monitoring and diagnostic framework for Linux or Windows cluster containing multiple tomcats, big data services and databases.The product aims at providing a bird's-eye view of the cluster in a single ReactJS based dashboard and quick insights into the problem and its dependencies.It takes simplistic and extensible JSON based configuration as input which is fully customizable by the end user with features like defining variables and adding custom Java classes.Used Akka for its thin and parallel actor model to develop a highly scalable product with a minimal footprint on the cluster with a simple installer. Conceptualized as a utility for Nia but has evolved into a standalone product.Over the development, have been involved in all the design decisions and have produced reusable components like a thread-safe and caching execution engine for running scripts on servers.Alongside development, am responsible for release schedule and deployment and support of the product.
