Led Low Latency Trading Systems Development for Fixed Income and FX Markets. Our work spanned multiple asset classes: Repo, Rates, Credit and FX, and across geographies, notably US and EMEA. Technical Architect and Engineering Manager of the prop desk/auto trading (ATD) for US Equities and dark pool/CitiMatch teams based out of India. We built the 2 teams from ground up. Tech stack: C++/C++11 on Linux, STL, Boost, Ruby, a fair bit of Java, TIBCO, 29west, XML, FIX, KDB, Spring framework, miscellaneous open source and commercial frameworks and metaprogramming.Incorporated ETF trading support in an other cash only trading infrastructure. Markets traded include NYSE, Nasdaq, CME etc. Interfaced the front office systems for trading with middle office etc. Regular support for exchange mandatory upgrades like Chi-X, developed an exchange simulator for continuous integration, migrating the code base to C++11 etc. We also did prototyping work on moving the code base from SVN to Git etc.
