• All duties of Imports Coordinator.• Monitoring staff of two coordinators. • Liaising with Customs and Quarantine for Audit’s.• Giving Price/Rates to customers or Agents.• Monitoring all branches for customs and quarantine regulation.• Collate figures and Statistics, Producing reports for Management.• Providing strategic advice to ensure most cost effective modes of transport are being used to meet delivery timelines.• Resolving issues, which could result in the shipments being delayed as well as manage customers if delay does occur.• Acting as knowledge Centre for Company, Clients and Agents.• To prepare various International shipping Documents such as declaration documentation in accordance with foreign countries import/export laws, packing lists and shipping invoice.• Regular contact with Freight Forwarders, Communicating cargo dispatch information.• Working closely with customers to ensure all deliveries are prepared in accordance with the customer’s requirements and all documentation is prepared correctly.• Customer Service – Maintain good relationships and to also help develop partnership on behalf of company.• To maintain administrative and accounting records on behalf of the company, which should be in accordance with company.• Liaise with customs and quarantine officials for inspection. • Arrange treatment through QAP.• Invoice clients and agents and make sure paid prior to delivery.• Lodge entries in EDI and ICS.• Maintain 3 year worth of records• Ensure all regulations are complied with.
