I am a postdoctoral researcher (PDRA) at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, working on solid hydrogen storage and chemical looping ammonia production. My work involves preparation and characterisation of materials for use in lab scale reactors, and development of reactor and system scale computer models to determine how these technologies can be implemented at a practical scale.My Ph.D. work investigated how chemical looping catalysis can be used in chemical production, such as for propylene oxide and propanol, and for industrial processes such as air separation, using the results to develop mechanistic insights into chemical looping processes.Outside of my work, I enjoy the opera, target shooting, and competitive quizzing.
