- Developed and maintained the Visa Data Subscription Services (VDS2) portal, enabling users to create data subscriptions tailored to their specific needs. This portal offers diverse data filtering options for streaming and batch data, allowing users to leverage Visa transaction data for advanced filtering purposes.- Enhanced the VDS2 portal by incorporating new features for users to easily modify their subscriptions and receive appropriate feedback in case of request rejection. Additionally, I integrated external APIs to provide links to relevant metadata.- Developed the VDS2 Lookup Application to create lookup tables for advanced data filtering in real-time. This application writes data to respective subscriber Kafka topics or HDFS tables, supporting both batch and streaming data processing. It empowers users to filter data for purposes such as early fraud detection and analysis of user spending trends.- Redesigned the VDS2 Lookup Application by implementing a multithreading approach. This enhancement significantly boosted performance by splitting data processing for each subscriber entity and enabling parallel enrichment of lookup data. As a result, the processing time was reduced to 1/4th of the original approach.
