Project Zeen was started by a few of us members at Enactus MPSTME to help improve the life of the farmers of Maharashtra. Currently, I am co-heading a team of 30+ people for more than 6 months. Under my leadership, we have:1. Conducted cloud seeding experiments in drought-struck regions of Maharashtra for a fraction of price of commercial methods.2. Established 3 farmer to consumer markets (previously had 1 functioning market).3. Worked on modern and innovative techniques of growing vegetables like Hydroponics and invested in research of superfoods like Spirulina.4. Established a processed food sub section of the project where currently our beneficiaries manufacture, package and sell biscuits.5. Developed a system of educating the rural population about the use of technology and computers, farming techniques and business skills named InfoX.6. Collaborated with various NGOs and organisations like Lions Club, Global ParliOverall, since the time I have been a head of this project, our revenue generated for the farmers have gone from 2L to 10L, whereas our beneficiaries have increased from 200 to more than 500.
