Director, Advisory - Procurement And Business Services Transformation
CurrentRelevant Experience: - Guided a multinational energy company through their outsourcing journey (provider evaluations, selection, negotiation & contracting, and implementation/transition) of key aspects of Finance and Procurement to a third party BPO in conjunction with assisting in the design and standup of a GBS capability to transform the entire service delivery model for back and middle office services. - Assisted a leading US-grocer (~$140B revenue) in completion of a feasibility study aimed at modernizing their service delivery model and leveraging increased international sourcing. Working across five company verticals, an activity analysis and work decomposition exercise was completed to determine the scale of the work most suitable to be transferred to an international location. After a detailed ‘buy vs build’ analysis, an integrated roadmap was developed to enable immediate move-forward action for RFP solicitation of a third-party vendor. - Worked with a team of customer operation specialists to assist a leading global merchandiser (~$100B revenue) in improving their global contact center services by implementing standardized workflows, breaking down internal silos, and launching a personalized approach to service to counter the organization’s ‘one size fits all’ mindset. Identified opportunities and roadmap to achieve ~$25-35M in contact center savings per year. - Worked with a team of subject matter professionals to design a new service delivery model for an animal sciences company being divested from its life sciences parent company. This included assessment and ultimate down-select of a new GBS location, organization design (retained and new GBS), transition planning, TSA planning and governance, and cost tracking. Cost models included an end-state view of all G&A labor costs, ramp-up of resource costs, a comparison to industry benchmarks, and the costs of one-time standup projects ($275M).
