• Collaborate with several departments and staff on project development and execution. • Mobilized an electronic health record (EHR) team not previously present at TPMG, educating and managing eight trainers to implement an EHR implementation process affecting over 600 employees. • Assessed workflow. And created a more efficient workflow for the providers/staff so the patients were able to be seen in a timely manner and documenting the visit wasn’t so time consuming. • Optimized hardware purchasing/ordering.• Organized and executed training sessions for 1 to 20 people from various departments and/or specialties, educating a wide range of audience types (e.g. physicians, mid-levels, medical assistants, administrative staff). I trained NextGen EHR• Charted successful course of management over 45 “go-lives,” resulting in qualifying 87 physicians for Meaningful Use Phase 1. • Educated physicians and staff on all core measures, allowing them to qualify (meaningful use). • Identified technical support process and system-related issues, designing custom solutions.• Updated the NextGen application weekly and monthly. • Facilitated monthly User Group Meetings designed for office managers from 40+ locations to gather and share their experiences, tips, and provide each other guidance. • Achieved NextGen Certified Professional qualification in 2011 for EHR/PM/Patient Portal/Document Management.
