Programme of activity is in excess of £20M consisting of projects delivering significant infrastructure and data centre upgrades including:· Mainframe upgrades· End of life data centre Cisco network switch upgrades· EMC Storage frame upgrades· Data centre refresh, maintenance and business growth for Nationwide's data centres (power, cooling, racking, server growth, decommissioning etc).Day to day management of the programme including:· Shaping technical projects and programmes from inception· Managing project/programme budgets and driving cost and delivery efficiencies through effective programme management· Relationship building and management of senior stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged early and throughout the lifecycle· Line Management, and management of performance and behaviour through regular 1 to 1s and performance reviews· Leadership of a cross Matrix Team delivering complex changes on time; to budget and to meet Business outcomes/benefits

Mainframe Upgrade ProjectResponsible for the end to end management of the project delivery.

Hardware Security Module (HSM) Upgrade ProjectDelivery of strategically complex technical project, with progress tracked at Senior level and by external parties Control of project budget in excess of £3m.Project to upgrade Nationwide’s cryptographic platform across multiple key platforms includingSuccessful implementation of upgrades using Waterfall and Agile techniques.Provision of IT security capabilities for virtually all the Society’s major Corporate Programmes.Responsible for managing Nationwide and strategic partner project managers.

Email Service Upgrade ProjectPlanning, resourcing, financial tracking and management of the remediation of 300 business applications that rely upon the email system to complete critical business processes to ensure that they are transitioned to and continue to function with the upgraded solution.Effective commercial negotiation of Statement of Works in conjunction with Procurement with suppliers to enable the remediation of key business systems. • Planned, managed and successfully delivered analysis of current application email infrastructure estate using Analysis and Design resource, Computacenter and BT. Planned managed and successfully delivered the project requirements against a background of changing project scope to enable design and RFI/ITT for the selection of an implementation partner. Management of multi-disciplined delivery teams including Delivery Centres, Infrastructure, Operations, Analysts and 3rd parties.Remediation across entire Society system estate demonstrating robust IT and Business stakeholder management, enhancing a strong personal networking position.London Project – IT Enablement Successful implementation ahead of time and to quality and cost of the infrastructure and application of an event management and audio visual equipment control solution into the new Nationwide office (Threadneedle Street) in London. Planned, resourced and accurately managed the cost of the delivery of the solution.Robust management of a 3rd party partner.Successful delivery of an internal support model and contractual support agreement with the 3rd party.Experience of successfully delivering in a highly pressurised, date driven environment
