I'm the co-founder and creative director of Audio Factory, a company specialising in the production of speech based audio content for clients including BBC, Audible, Blackstone Audio, Disney Press, Brilliance Audio, Tantor Media, Hachette and Bookouture. Since our foundation in 2011, notable commissions include the production of three series I created and wrote for BBC's CBeebies Radio and working on over 600 audiobook titles, which included directing co-productions of Michael Crichton's 'The Great Train Robbery' (2015) and Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' (2017).Away from Audio Factory I have gained experience as a writer, producer and project manager for film and video productions in collaboration with filmmaker James Barber of Barbster360. Our work to date includes multiple corporate productions for Knightstone Housing Association and Perry's Recycling in addition to self funded web series and short film productions. I have also created and developed filmmaking courses for beginners of all ages and delivered these for the highly renowned Millfield Enterprises in Somerset.In April 2014, I donated an entertainment based community magazine that I previously co-owned to a community and arts centre in Glastonbury. 'The Basis' is distributed to 6500 homes in Somerset and this donation was made on the grounds that a variation of internships were to be offered to local people. These included copywriting, journalism, graphic design, management, new media and web design. In my time as manager and editor of 'The Basis' I presented over 60 local people with opportunities to write for the magazine, allowing them to build their portfolio and hone their craft. Our most successful contributor has gone on to write for NME. I also developed exciting commercial links with gig venues including O2 Academy Bristol and the likes of Burger King, Frankie & Benny's, Clarks Village, Millfield School, JD Wetherspoon and the Glastonbury Festivals Organisation. All have advertised in the publication.
