I’m a focused and driven IT professional working in the education sector since 2005. I have worked across multiple types of establishments – single schools, multi-academy trusts and education MSPs providing support for primary and secondary schools.I’m currently working as the operation manager for Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South, the role consists of working for the central business unit of the Federation and managing four local IT teams across our nine schools and supporting the central business operations of the Federation.I currently work across a multitude of areas in the role:• Microsoft Windows server and desktop support and deployment (SCCM)• Service desk management• Providing third-line support for the local IT teams• Windows Azure and Office 365 administration• Maintaining and managing SIMS.net across the Federation• Planning and deploying project work across the FederationThe role is a mixture of technical and non-technical which can provide different day-to-day challenges which is what I like about the role. The Federation are going through a big technology change at this time and being a key part of it has been very rewarding.
