I am a driven, enthusiastic Principal Requirements Engineer who has experience in defence, energy and aerospace with an interest in process improvement and embracing new technologies.I have experience in the management of multi-disciplinary projects at various stages of the project lifecycle. This has included managing work across various countries and time zones. I currently work at BMT where I have developed my skills in requirements and acceptance as well as project management and enterprise architecture over the past few years.During my academic studies I covered a wide variety of disciplines within engineering; from advanced robotics and artificial intelligence to 3D printing and renewable energy.I have an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering where I conducted a project with BAE Systems investigating additive manufacturing (3D Printing) in the aerospace industry as part of my Aerospace Bursary award from the Royal Academy of Engineering.I graduated from Swansea University with a first-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering where I conducted a year in industry with Pall Europe Ltd. My BEng final year dissertation won the Atkins Carbon Critical Award for my work with the Wales National Pool to optimise their energy consumption and utilise variable speed drive technology.
