The competition challenges undergraduate students to design, build and market a single seat race car in accordance with strict rules and guidelines to compete against rival universities at Silverstone Race Circuit each year.The project is funded entirely from sponsorship and in-kind donations from industry, predominantly in the Aberdeenshire area. The project contributes to student development, allowing team members to apply their theoretical engineering knowledge to a fully-operational engineering project and learn vital skills along the way which better prepare them for a job in industry.My role as Project Manager / Team Principal required me to oversee the scope of the TAU-19 project.
