Project mechanical engineer working within the client-side PMC delivery team, which is accountable for delivering the FEED for a multi bn$ (USD) greenfield refining and petrochemical mega project. Which encompasses the complete refining process, a petrochemical plant, a power island, as well as the required tankage, pipelines, and marine facilities etcetera. Some of my responsibilities within this role encompasses defining a feasible asset integrity management system and reviewing and commenting on engineering contractors and licensors mechanical deliverables excreta.

Taken the opportunity to get exposure to both drinking and sewage water treatment infrastructure in the Northumbria area and developed an understanding of the engineering work involved in the commissioning, maintaining and decommissioning of the active sites. Summer internship: INEOS Oxide is at the forefront of Ethylene and Polypropylene based chemicals production. Working on an industrial summer placement on an ETAC plant, gaining exposure during a TAR (Turn-A-Round). Receiving extensive exposure to the industry.Summer transcript will be available on demand highlighting processes and experience's I have been involved with, for example, 'Permit to Work', 'Technical Justification' and 'NDT'.

Internship role with FIRST, I'm working with a team to create and run an event in the Tyne and Wear Area to help young people get into industrial placements to give them a start onto a path towards there dream industry. Developed myself by attending network events and workshops.

A part of the student-staff team that works on structured events to promote the University and Higher Education opportunities to young people from the ages of 11- 18. This has given me great promotion experience and the confidence for public speaking.

Program representative for the 1st year Meng Mechanical Engineering course, this role has me in the student – staff dynamic working with my professional tutors to talk and act on issues raised by my peers.

Working as part of a multi-disciplined team on projects needing both time/resource management, team/industry communication and good technical aptitude. A responsibility that was placed with me was the running of a trade center. I was manufacturing the hydraulic hose to the customers specifications right in front of them, this made me a very practical problem solver as I had to find an effective solution for their needs as soon as they came through the door. I was very confident working with the customers and understood the importance of speaking professionally. This role also made me conscious of the quality of my work due to the safety consequences involved.
